Proposed Local Law

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Town Board of the Town of Allen at the Town Hall Building located at 4949 Klein Rd, Town of Allen, NY at 7:00 pm

October 22, 2024, concerning introductory Local Law 1 of 2024, entitled "A Local Law to Override the Real Property Tax Cap Levy Established by General Municipal Law 3-c". The purpose of the proposed local law is to authorize the Town Board to adopt a budget for the 2025 fiscal year. A copy of proposed law is available for inspection at the office of the Town Clerk. 

At such time and place all persons interested in the subject matter of proposed local law will be heard concerning the same.

Given that the Town Board of said town will meet and review the preliminary budget and hold a public hearing on October 22, 2024 at 7:15pm at the Allen Town Hall located at 4949 Klein Rd, Town of Allen.

At this public hearing the Town Board will hear all in favor or against any items in said preliminary budget. Pursuant to section 107 of the Town Law. The proposed salaries of the following town officials are as follows:

Supervisor       $4,000.00

Town Clerk       $6,000.00

Tax Collector    $1,500.00

Councilman 4 each  $550.00

total of               $2,200.00

Town Justice     $3,000.00

Highway Supt    $54,075.00

Assessor            $4750.00
